1. Shailputri

Ghatasthapana is done in houses on Pratipada on the first day of Navratri. On the Pratipada, the form of mother Shailputri is worshiped. Shailputri is considered the first of the nine forms of Goddess Durga. It is believed that by worshiping mother Shailputri on the first day in Navratri, one gets freedom from lunar defect. Being born as the daughter of the Himalayas, the goddess was named Shailputri. He has Trishul in his right hand and Kamal in his left hand. They have also been considered as the form of Parvati.

2. Mother Brahmacharini

The seeker sets his mind on the feet of the mother on this day. Brahma means penance and charini means conduct. In this way Brahmacharini means one who conducts tenacity. There is a garland of chanting in his right hand and a lotus in his left hand. This second form of Maa Durga is going to give eternal support to the devotees and Siddhas. Their worship leads to increase in tenacity, sacrifice, quietness, virtue, self-control. Even in the difficult struggles of life, his mind does not deviate from the path of duty.

3. Maa Chandraghanta

On the third day of Navratri, mother Chandraghanta is worshiped and fast is kept. Worshiping this form of mother with true mind cures diseases. There is no fear from enemies and a boon is given for long life. Along with this, the mother also increases spiritual strength, confidence and mind control. Mother Chandraghanta rides on a lion and has arms and arms in her ten hands. The moon sits on the forehead of the mother, which makes her look and beautiful.

4. Kushmand Devi

Mother Kushmand Devi is worshiped on the fourth day of Navratri. She is called as Kushmanda Devi due to the creation of the universe from her abdomen. 5. Skandmata

On the fifth day, the fifth form of Maa Durga Puja Navratri is worshiped by Skandamata. She is known as Skandmata because of the mother of Skanda Kumar Karthikeya. Lord Skanda is seated in his lap in the form of a child. Skandmata has four arms, Skandmata holds a lotus flower in her two hands. One of her arms is raised upwards, by which she blesses the devotees. With one hand, he holds the son Skanda sitting on his lap. Mata sits on the lotus seat. Due to which Skandamata is Padmasana.

6. Mother Katyayani

Maa Katyayani is worshiped on the sixth day of Navratri. Goddess Parvati wore this form to slay Mahishasura. Devi Katyayani Singh (rides). She has four hands, one of the right two hands holds Abhaya Mudra and the other in Varada Mudra and in one of the left two hands holds a sword and a lotus flower in the other. 7. Maa Kalratri

Kalratri is a very frightening and fierce form of mother. There is nothing more frightening than this in the entire universe. But even then this form is dedicated to motherhood. 8. Mahagauri

Mother Mahagauri is worshiped on the eighth day of Navratri. Maa Mahagauri is also called Shiva. In one of his hands is the trident symbol of Durga Shakti and in the other hand is the damru of Lord Shiva. In its worldly form, Mahagauri is bright, soft, white in color and white in a cloak.
